Finally Grace is here but she is so small and i feel so guilty that she seems not getting enough nutrients. She's only 2.71kg at birth but my tummy looks so big.

Baby is coming to this world next month and everything seems so fast. I have not prepare much things and im just feeling tired everyday. Many things to handover and prepare in advance. Lazy to think that much.

August is our National day and Singapore is 48 years old now. 48 years with so much changes all thanks for to our Mr. Lee KY. He has made Singapore being known to all countries. With the stable economic and everyone getting a job with roof over our head and not having to sleep on the street. Though it was not easy to have everyone to support him but we cannot deny the effort he has for Singapore.   Though we have an expensive lifestyle but at least we are safe in our country. Some people are struggling to survive but it all depends on the life they want. They want luxury and that's why they keep complaining every month money is not enough. Things are getting expensive because of the demand and fluctuation is happening in every country. We have government that think for us and not feed us with sliver spoon. We cant live like other country where they don't work and still get money every month. They are becoming lazy and not making full use of their abilities whil...

Many people post quotes that are about emotional, courage, friends and many more. Alot of time, when I see such quotes, I wonder why they post it doesn't reflect that they have really understand the quotes they post. Example when people post about "don't bother how other sees you, live your own life". This doesn't mean really to live in your own world. Own life includes having family and friends with you. But they misinterpreted that they can say what they want and others cannot say what they want. They want other people to have the same thinking as them and wont accept the fact that everyone is different. They want others to give in to them rather than they give in to others. Its more like anti-social and its hard to understand what they want. Sometimes its hard to communicate with them. The attitude they have really sucks. I was busy during the whole month of July. Every weekend bring Grant to Soap Factory and teach the kids soap making. Though it was tough but the result is getting good with more kids coming to learn soap making. Kids self made the soap makes them learn more and appreciate the things they made. I hope so they will appreciate at this age.   I learnt more about soap making and benefits of using handmade soap rather than those commercial body foam/bath which contains more preservatives. While our handmade soap does not have any preservatives and this makes our skin more moisturizer than liquid body foam. There’s still a lot more to learn than just melt and pour. The more I made, the more I want to try different types of soap that looks good outside and good for our skin. Now Grant is making soap every weekend and is getting more artistic into making smaller soap. 

Eversince wee start teaching diving during weekend, I have been going to the shop to help out more often as zhenny is going back to France. Wee is only at home during weekdays and we try to go after my work when we have time. We bring Grant to swimming, Hougang 1 for dinner and stroll back home. He doesn’t have much time for us and coming months he has to teach diving in Redang during weekdays. Every week to Redang, back and forth. We plan to move to new house before I give birth and most of the furniture are still not settle yet. We still short of sofa, bed, TV and kitchen door. These are the things which need to pay by installment. With new baby coming, we still need to prepare cash for delivery. Doctor fee for cesarean cost $2.5k and hospital package $2.5k not including the anesthetic fee and pediatric fee which might add up to $6k for the total hospital bill and deduction from Medisave $3.5k. Some people think that they are the best of all people. Everything has to be their way. Anything not going according to their way, they get angry and pissed off at the person who get in their way.  After making everyone pissed off, they still think they are right and everyone should bow to them.  Everyone has a choice and a chance to make things right. Some people just dont see the correct way most people should see. Everyone has their own problem and when you vent your anger on your friends because you have a problem with your own problem, you make everyone pissed off at you. What for?  Some people just dont learn to take things easy and always so sensitive to people words. Dont understand why they bother so much about how others look at them. Its not about confidence, its about their pride and ego. How low can you put your pride and ego among friends and family? Everything want to win and thus the winner is you and you lose all your friends. 

Many years back where MSN was the IN thing and everyday after work, i will go back home and chat online. Now, nobody use MSN anymore and all is about Whatsapp, Viber, Line where we can chat in the handphone anytime anywhere. Dont need to go home and on the computer to chat. Technology has made everything convenient for us but then less personal touch and contact. Everyone go out is looking at the handphone and playing in their own world. It has become a habit and thats why people dont communicate in the correct way.

A place where i always wanted to go. Uyuni Salt Lake. Its not an easy journey to go from Singapore but seeing the photos of Uyuni Salt Lake, i think its worth to go there once in a lifetime. It is said that this place is the nearest place to heaven as its location i s  11,995 ft above mean sea level. Some might have difficulties in breathing towards the lake. Old company, new management; what are the chances of good chemistry that will evolve? Beginning of this year, we have changed our MD and with this new MD, he has brought in more foreign talent of his own race/culture. It's a natural instinct that people are more comfortable with their own culture/race/country. The main difference we see is whoever is in power can bring in their own people to the company. Previously the Indians are in power and he brings in all the Indians to this company. Now the Indian have lose the power and new management bring in more European. Though the Indian still remains in company but they have not much said about anything. With the new management in, many things have changed and now is a good start when they implement flexi hours to staff. We can choose to work from 8-5, 9-6 or 10-7. I have changed my work time to 8-5 where I have more time to bring Grant out during the evening. Now we have time to go swimming and exercise after...

Ever since I announced that I am pregnant in workplace, my workload has reduced and I feel so useless. They think pregnant woman cannot handle things. Especially the top management where they think pregnant is a liability to them. They have to give me 4 months maternity leave and after maternity leave, kids will fall sick and will take more leave to look after the baby. Sometimes when the top does not understand what a mother go though and will think that we are only trying to find excuses. If there is someone at home looking after the baby, who wants to take leave? I wish not to work if I can when my baby is less than 2 years old. That's the time where they are the weakest and need the most attention. But I dun think I can do that for my 2 nd baby. At least Grant is more fortunate to have me with him for at least 1.5yrs before he went childcare centre. End of May, my baby is 20 weeks old and had went for a detailed scan at Thomson Medical. I feel more energetic this month and keep moving around. Doing the housework and make myself sweat out during house chore.  Wee is helping Melvin to teach diving and every weekend they will go Tioman to teach diving. I will bring Grant out every weekend to TW and hospital to visit ah gong. Ah gong has been admitted to hospital due to virus attack in the breathing tube. Before that he has a tube inset in the nose so that he can eat. Nobody can understand how pain that is and because of the doctor said, we have to put. I wonder the doctor really knows their work or just from the books. Most of the doctors do not have experience and fresh grads only work with the knowledge from books. How many percent of the books can be applied to the real sick? Even the doctor has no confidence. They are also trial and error and to be careful, they think some methods can save the lives of people by putting equipment in the body and making the sick feel uncomfortable. It hurts to see a...

By end of April, baby is about 15 weeks in my tummy. My morning sickness is slowly fading and not much vomiting. Aint too tired and doesn't crave for anything at the moment. Eat simpler and only prefer soupy food than meaty dry food. Appetite not that good due to morning sickness but I can feel im putting weight fast. At 12 weeks, I went for the OSCAR scan and weight about 67kg. The weight did not go up fast but I feel my fats are growing fast and all the shorts are not able to wear anymore. This pregnancy I should control my diet unlike the 1 st one where I have gained 20kg and had a difficult time to slim down. I must always remind myself that no husband would like a fat and haggard wife. So we as a wife should always maintain our figure and make our husband feel comfortable and be proud of us. 

We have many March birthday babies in our family. Our father, Grant, Chelsie, Me, Angeline and Zhenny. We had a simple celebration on pa birthday and all the March babies took photo together. Fenny also announce that her 2 nd baby is coming this year and just after me. Next year there will be a chaos in TW with all the children and babies around. Can't imagine all the shouting and crying going on. Maybe that's why some childcare teacher beat up the kids in the centre. Hope we don't become like the sick teacher. 

February is where we Chinese celebrate Chinese new year anywhere in the world as long as there are Chinese people. People thought Chinese people must  be from China and for that, they are ignorance and lazy to know more about other culture.  The spirit of celebrating Chinese new year is getting boring in Singapore. Many choose to go overseas for holiday maybe to avoid giving out Ang Bao. Some tradition things are going to extinct in this modern world. Many because of the troublesome to get things done in the tradition way forgo and choose the easy way. Everything to keep simple. February is the month of the love but we don’t really celebrate. Its common to celebrate valentine day in Singapore but we are like old couple. Nothing is great after what we have been through. Simple and peaceful life is what I ask for. No hanky panky. January is rather a slow and boring month. Nothing much happened but work is not that good. With the moving to 4 th level from 3 rd level, everything changed. The atmosphere, the attitude towards work, the relationships between colleagues. My new seat isn’t that good in the lighting, the size of my space, the privacy. Not much privacy with my boss sitting behind me. Looking through his door to my computer screen. He doesn’t seems to appreciate me and I can sense that. Sometimes the closer we are, the further we are. The house loan at TW is at least stable at the moment. Every month stable deduction and payment. Hopefully we can clear the outstanding amount soon. January is our wedding anniversary and also Chole coming to this beautiful world. 

It seems like I have achieved none of the 2012 resolutions. I have achieved half of the losing weight target. Suppose to go for child sponsor program but end up sponsoring WWF for the animals. I have not went for any course this year and nor getting any higher and better work position.  2012 seems to be wasted just like that and with all the bad memories. But without comfort zone, people will look out for more opportunities.  My resolutions for 2013 is to get out of comfort zone. Survive in the reality world where everything needs money. 2013 is a year to be strive for more lobang and with new house coming, more reasons to make more money. Change of industry to explore my capabilities. Move out comfort zone and see how am I to survive with all the new changes.

December was wee birthday and had decided to go Bangkok in november to celebrate for him. We have a fun and tired trip. All the walking and shopping really isnt easy for us. Each time we walked, we can only walked 2hrs and need to sit down and drink and rest. People said Thai people are friendly but not all. Most of them are friendly and helpful but some are rude and think of money only. When we ask for lower price they show us angry face. But we have met a nice lady who told us which us to take to MBK and even write the name which is in Thai for us to show to the people in the bus. So that they can show us where to get down. November passed too fast with the busy workload in office.
