August is our National day and Singapore is 48 years old now. 48 years with so much changes all thanks for to our Mr. Lee KY. He has made Singapore being known to all countries. With the stable economic and everyone getting a job with roof over our head and not having to sleep on the street. Though it was not easy to have everyone to support him but we cannot deny the effort he has for Singapore.
Though we have an expensive lifestyle but at least we are safe in our country. Some people are struggling to survive but it all depends on the life they want. They want luxury and that's why they keep complaining every month money is not enough. Things are getting expensive because of the demand and fluctuation is happening in every country. We have government that think for us and not feed us with sliver spoon. We cant live like other country where they don't work and still get money every month. They are becoming lazy and not making full use of their abilities while they can.
Many handicapped people in Singapore are more useful than those who don't work and get money from government every month. The handicapped people at least can do some handicraft and sell their products. Making themselves useful and not wasting their time thinking on useless matters.
Though im proud of Singapore but im not proud of those people who came to Singapore and destroy the peace here. Many take things for granted and they think they are not in their country and can show their ugly side here in Singapore. People said Singaporean this and that but did they really check are those people they are saying is Singaporean or foreign? Its not the race of the people but the character of people here. Things happen in Singapore and they said is by Singaporean.
What happens when the foreigner came to Singapore and did not gave up their seats to the needy? That's not Singaporean, that's the upbringing. Different people different mindset and when we go other country we accept their culture and not changing their culture with ours. But those who came to Singapore bring their culture and bad habits and thus making people think that is Singaporean way.
Isnt this is unfair to us when we have done nothing wrong? Why should Singaporean be the black sheep among the foreigner when foreigner has done something wrong? Are we too kind or scare to defense ourselves?
