Today is the 1st day i start my training. Everything is fine except the bloody weather. Its been snowing from morning till now 7pm (singapore time 2am). Heavy snow and windy weather is driving me crazy.
Last night my director called me to ask me go down for breakfast as he was staying in this hotel too but then he went back to Sweden this noon. He had missed me for dinner yesterday when the reception ger had gave him the wrong room no. So after breakfast, he told me that he was actually staying just opposite my room.
We went to office in his car and its just a 5mins drive from the hotel which means i have to walk around 8mins from hotel to office tomorrow morning. Snowy weather is really troublesome. He has to sweep off the snow flake from his car before driving off if not he cannot see the road.
Today learning was ok and its totally new to me. New department new things to learn. Nice people in the office and they are all surprise to see young people for training. I guess. Most of them are old and grumpy type of man. Who aint that humorous and its like digging their head on the desk whole day. Only lunch time, they are out of their deskbound area.
Lunch was not bad, for the 1st day. Coming days with same lunch routine and everyday bread, salad, bread, salad. Coffee with no taste and its very diluted unlike singapore style of coffee. Rich and thick.
Start work at 8am - lunch at 1130 - off work at 4pm
well this type of job timing is perfectly boring and i dont think singapore working lifestyle can complete anything within a day with this type of working hours.
Working hours are short and lunch is provided (bread & salad only) with the deduction from their salary. Perfect for wife & husband, mother & father. More time for family and less time in the office. I will be happy if my family is here so that i can have more time for Grant & Wee.
Today is only 1st day and im already getting tired. Time lapse is really helping me to get more tired and sick. My nose is hurting so much inside. Its too dry for my nose and i think its bleeding abit inside.
Okay, im going to rest early tonight. Its 740pm now and my eyes are very very dry and tired. Going to sleep soon in the cold cold weather.
